When you register on the Community of Practice Platform, you become a Collaborator, meaning you can access the platforms tools and community, including:
- Collaborator profile: Create your detailed professional profile highlighting your areas of interest, areas of expertise, and location.
- Resource sharing: Within your profile, you can post publications, research, guides and best practices documentation. Other collaborators can find and access the information you choose to share and connect with you.
- Community Forum (Available to some communities): Once you become a collaborator, you can participate in discussions with researchers, community organizations, educators, industry leaders, and policy makers through an in-system community forum.
- Real Time Updates: Industry and academic partners will use the Community of Practice platform to share new research and findings from projects across Canada related to skills training, career transitions, and labour market trends through the Resource Centre.
- Resource Centre: The Resource Centre will also house guides and resources related to topics such as developing funding proposals, diverse hiring, and workforce development initiatives from Conference Board of Canada, the Diversity Institute, Research Impact Canada and the Government of Canada.
