The Learning Centre is the Magnet Home for Learning. Within you can see all the content available to you, enroll in the content that interests you, and start learning. The Learning Centre has three sections. Learning Catalogue, My Learning, and External Learning.
Learning Catalogue
The Learning Catalogue contains all the learning content that you as a Learner have available.
When clicking on learning content you will see a detailed view of what that content contains.
On this page you can see the Name and Price of the content. Next you see the Access Period. Access Period is the length of time for which a learner has to complete the content before they lose access to the content. It is possible to re-enroll in content after the access period has elapsed, though additional costs may be charged for re-enrollment. If the content is free you’ll see an Enrol button and if the content is for-fee you’ll see an Add to Cart button. Once you’ve enrolled you can immediately begin the learning content inside the LMS.
My Learning
My Learning contains all the learning content which you as a Learner have a relation to. This content will be content you enrolled in or content that was granted to you by a learning administrator.
When clicking on enrolled learning content you will see a detailed view of what that content contains.
Your Content Status indicates your progress through the content. This can be either Not Started, In Progress, Expired, or Completed. By clicking Start or Continue you can progress to the LMS and complete the content for as long as you have Access to your content. Once the Access Period has elapsed you must re-enrol in order to access the content again.
External Learning
External Learning is a page where you can access external learning management systems. This page only appears if there is external learning available to you as a learner.
