If you are an organization administrator, you can purchase and enroll your account members into learning content via the Learning Management Dashboard. From the dashboard you can see all the learning content you have available to your organization and the learning statuses of all your account members.
When clicking on learning content you’ll be brought to a detailed view of the learning content.
You can see the Name and Price of the content. As well as the Access Period. Access Period is the length of time for which a learner has to complete the content before they lose access to the content. The Access Period begins at the moment of enrollment, which is when either the learner enrolls themselves into the learning content or you as a learning administrator enroll the learner into the learning content.
If the learning content has a price then you can Buy Seats for that learning content. Buying Seats of Learning Content will begin a Grant Period for any unused seats you have purchased and have not granted to a learner. The Grant Period is the length of time you as an administrator have after purchase to grant unused seats of learning content to a learner before they expire. Note that once you’ve granted a seat to a learner, that learners’ access period will begin.
Besides purchasing seats, your two actions you can perform are Recommending Content and Granting Content.
Recommending Content will let the learner know that you recommend that they complete this content. Note that recommendations will not enroll the learner or use a seat. This functionality is used if you want to draw attention to the content to the learner or have the learner purchase the content for themselves.
Granting Content will enroll the learner and use a seat from your available seats if the content was purchased. This means that for purchased content the learner will not need to personally purchase it in order to access it. You as the administrator are granting them access from your purchases. If the content is free, you will simply enroll the learner and they will be informed they’ve been enrolled.
As a learning administrator you can view your account members progress in content by either the course view or the learner view. The course view will let you see your account members status in a particular piece of learning content. The learner view will show you all the content your account members have been enrolled in and the content status.
